The cultural Silk Road

The OBOR also presents a cultural dimension with the University Alliance of the Silk Road to strengthen cooperation among OBOR states universities.

Another objective regards the preservation of the cultural heritage of the ancient Silk Road, with the organization of exhibits about this network and its history and the development of tourism projects about the ancient Silk Road.

Through the ancient Silk Road, China and Europe exchanged ideas and innovations. The “Belt and Road” initiative aims at reviving this cultural route and improving relations between the two regions.
